Hong Kong Waste Management Association

The Hong Kong Waste Management Association (HKWMA) is an assembly of companies, institutions and individuals whose primary objectives are the continuous promotion of high standards in waste management in Hong Kong and the close cooperation with all entities interested and affected by solid waste issues. The association, for instance, organizes workshops, conferences and seminars on topics related to waste management and relevant environmental aspects. The association also frequently publishes working and position papers referring to the said matters.
The association organizes its Annual General Meeting every year. At this event the chairman reports on the association’s current affairs and summarises the activities in the year up leading to the meeting. During the meeting the membership certificates for members are officially presented.
In 2017 the association’s chairman Victor Li of Dunwell Enviro-Tech handed out the new membership certificate for
Dr Born - Dr Ermel Engineering Ltd., to Markus Klemmer, head of office and representative of Dr Born - Dr Ermel Engineering Ltd. Currently, Jude Chow of Associated Engineering Ltd (AEL) is elected chairman of the HKWMA.
Dr Born - Dr Ermel Engineering Ltd. has been a permanent member of the Hong Kong Waste Management Association since the session 2014/2015 and will remain supportive to the association’s efforts of continuously enhancing waste management in Hong Kong.
