Offshore Wind energy

The main topic for offshore wind technology is to ensure the transmission of electrical energy with sufficient availability. The availability is basically determined by the number of systems that may fail without affecting the ensured transportation of energy on land. Redundancy concepts, such as n-x, reliable transmission of maintenance information and uninterruptable remote onshore connections are essential factor to guarantee operating safety of offshore wind farms.

Measurement, control and regulation technology

For operation and monitoring/control of energy supply (electricity, steam, heat, cold, pressurized air and CO2) the existing system have been replaced by process control system Win CC.
